I would like to talk about keeping the drinking age as it is and not having it lowered going into facts about what it can do on the brain and also talking about why massachusette wanted to raise their drinking age at one point for the entire state. Other topics i may want to talk about is dance or hunting.

Hi Tonya! Your first topic is acceptable (despite being a popular topic) because of the position you take and how you plan to defend that position. You would have to think of how to generate arguable theses from those other two topics. Use your time in the AML to decide on a topic and ideas for your paper.
