For my topic I plan on writing my final paper on endangered species and how the loss of these species is affecting our ecosystems. People realize that the disappearance of many animals is sad but they do not comprehend what affect these animals have on our ecosystems. Every animal in a way supports life in an ecosystem, especially large predators.

This sounds good--but broad. Perhaps narrow down to a specific species or area? Use your time in the AML tomorrow to research this topic and narrow it a bit. I actually have a lot of background in this topic (I took ecology classes as an undergrad) so let me know if you have any questions.
